Avalynn Circe

Discovery to Delivery.

Avalynn Circe is a Minnesota-based developer, business analyst, and technical writer with more than a decade of experience building systems, untangling complex problems, and making technical work legible to everyone in the room.

She is technical enough to build systems from scratch, analytical enough to untangle complex business problems, and clear enough as a communicator to bring every side of an issue into alignment. Her intellectual agility lets her move fluidly between roles as a developer, business analyst, systems analyst, project lead, technical writer, and knowledge architect. The title matters less to her than the project.

Selected work:

  • Built a custom self-service portal integrating multiple APIs to automate a conference asset workflow that had previously required eight people to coordinate manually
  • Built a real-time healthcare scheduling platform during COVID, supporting testing and vaccination teams across mobile clinical operations
  • Rebuilt F3 Wireless’s web presence from the ground up, translating complex RF and wireless engineering expertise into language that enterprise decision-makers could evaluate and act on
  • Built a searchable platform for 20,000+ chemical research documents, including full taxonomy design and data architecture
  • Reverse-engineered an undocumented, mission-critical system and rebuilt it; it has been in active use for more than ten years
  • Published a 350-page technical book on JavaScript, including an original concept-first framework she created called the PARTS Method
Avalynn Circe

Avalynn is a strong fit for roles in business analysis, systems analysis, knowledge management, technical writing, implementation, project management, customer success, or technical account management; and probably a few categories that have yet to earn a clean title.
